Wong
Dr. Alexandria Wong double-majored in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Alberta before moving to Philadelphia, where she earned a BSc in Visual Sciences and a Doctor of Optometry from Salus University in 2010.
Dr. Wong is dedicated to enhancing her patients’ quality of life through comprehensive eye care, focusing on the latest advancements in treatment and prevention. Her commitment to ocular disease management stems from a personal experience—her father was diagnosed with diabetes during an eye exam.
She takes a personalized approach, learning about each patient's unique experiences, needs, and concerns to tailor her care for the best outcomes. With expertise in fitting contact lenses and specialized training in managing a broad spectrum of ocular diseases, Dr. Wong ensures every patient receives the highest standard of individualized care. As an advocate for ocular health and preventative care, Dr. Wong emphasizes the importance of nutrition and holistic well-being. She is always happy to discuss treatments and strategies that extend beyond the optical or the chair, ensuring her patients are well-informed about their overall eye health.
Having joined WVEA in the Fall of 2023, Dr Wong has started another adventure that will prove fruitful and rewarding to her and her new patients.
Though she calls Brooklyn home, as a native of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Dr. Wong will always root for the Oilers. In her free time, Dr. Wong enjoys attending shows and plays, traveling with her family, and exploring new food markets.
